4. RETURNED CHECKS 

There will be a Forty Dollar ($40.00) charge to a customer's account for each check returned by the bank for nonpayment. This charge is in addition to any charges by the bank. Any applicable penalties will be applied if the returned check places the account in a past due status.

Any customer presenting three bad checks within a 12-month period will be required to pay their account by credit card or cash only.
