A WORD FROM BCES GENERAL MANAGER

SCOTT OWENS

Scott Owens has been employed with Benton County Electric System since 2012, developing the IT Department and implementing the technologies BCES customers appreciate today. Later, becoming Assistant General Manager and in July 2021 was named General Manager by the BCES Board of Public Utilities.

 

Scott lives in Holladay, Tennessee with his wife Amy, and daughter Sophia. He loves Benton County and is proud to serve this community. Owens stands in Truth and Facts, and his priority is to serve God.

 

Prior to the Utility Industry, Owens worked in large manufacturing and multi-state technical service organizations. Attending Murray State University, Scott received a B.S in Telecommunications Systems Management, and an M.S in Organization Communication.
